Daniel from Muuvin is a multi award-winning mortgage and protection adviser based in the North East. He’s been ranked as one of the Top 3 mortgage advisers in the UK by Unbiased, and is currently Newcastle’s #1 rated adviser on VouchedFor for both 2023 and 2024.
On paper (and in real life), Daniel is one of the best in the industry. But his online presence didn’t reflect that.
The Problem
When Daniel came to me, his existing website wasn’t broken, but it wasn’t helping either.
- It was built on a DIY template.
- It used stock photos and generic icons.
- The copy didn’t sound like him, too formal, too vague.
- Worst of all, the site wasn’t secure, a massive red flag for potential clients in the financial sector.
For a broker who has built such strong client relationships, his website felt like a mismatch. It didn’t build trust, didn’t show personality, and definitely didn’t reflect the level of service he delivers.
The Solution
My goal wasn’t just to design a nice looking website. It was to build a digital version of Daniel’s brand, one that feels real, trustworthy, and aligned with how he works in person.
I:
- Rebuilt the website from scratch in just 3 days (my fastest turnaround to date).
- Replaced generic stock imagery with a clean, professional layout designed to draw attention to Daniel’s testimonials and awards.
- Rewrote the website copy from scratch, keeping it in his tone: simple, warm, and approachable, not corporate or robotic.
- Ensured it was fully secure, mobile-optimised, and lightning fast.
We also added call to action buttons where it mattered most, making it easy for potential clients to get in touch or book a call.
The Result
The transformation was immediate:
- Daniel now has a website that backs up his reputation, instead of undermining it.
- Clients feel safer and more confident when landing on the site.
- Feedback from his audience has been overwhelmingly positive, especially around how the site “feels more like him.”
